Detail Photos

This is a short necklace composed of old chank shell flanges on a glass bead and chank necklace. Traditional form in good condition overall all, though the glass beads used to secure and ornament the shell flanges have been replaced on two of the chank pieces. This latter is not entirely unexpected with older necklaces as people would naturally repair a necklace like this and maintain it in their active jewelry repertoire.
